Thank you very much - I passed the figure along to my patron, and he was very appreciative.

You've got to love Reference 2.0.

Hi, I hate it when reference questions turn into stumpers... it drives me nuts. So, since we have a film theatre at our library (and their staff have industry contacts) - I passed your question on to them. The reply: "Not much... US$9.4 million on the domestic market." They didn't have figures handy for the international market.

This is corroborated by two sources I found on the Internet: 1) A Director's Spotlight of William Friedkin which notes that few saw "The Brink's Job" (http://www.firstshowing.net/2007/05/21/director-spotlight-william-friedkin/)
and 2) A site that talks about movies made by Mormons or about the Mormon faith - they also reference the $9.4 million figure (http://www.ldsfilm.com/box/box.html).

Hope this helps.
