Honestly, I didn’t even think of that. If they do have a library, I’m sure they have some provision for sending education materials, but I’m also sure it is also subject to regulations. But next time, I’ll also suggest that to the patron as a possible alternative – thanks.

Would it have been possible to contact the prison library (if there was one) and send the information to the librarian?

Thanks guys – most of the time I feel like I’m not doing enough. Trying to balance helping patrons thoroughly with selection with weeding with developing the website with book displays with etc. always leaves me feeling like there are things slipping through the cracks. Good thing I have this blog as another way to use up time. Ha.

I’m always impressed by how much you go above and beyond the call of duty. I try to do the same, but thinking to call the prison and ask about paper clips and staples? Wow.
