		<description><![CDATA[@anonymous: I do everything I can to anonymize the reference questions I get, to protect the privacy of my patrons so no one can trace any particular question back to a specific person (this sometimes even includes modifying and editorializing certain questions a bit to change facts or make it read better as a blog post).  The point of the Reference Question of the Week isn&#039;t necessarily the question as much as it is the process undertaken or resources used to answer it.  So in general, permission is not needed, since I&#039;m talking about and focusing on my own experiences.  However, in cases where there is no way to disassociate the question from the patron, or if I feel the nature of the question is particularly personal, I do get permission.  And there have also been questions I haven&#039;t posted because it made the patron uncomfortable.]]></description>
