While just about every song ends up on youtube at some point, another great site to check for this sort of thing is lala.com. I love lala just in general and have used it to upload my itunes library so that I can listen to my songs on any computer, but it has also linked me to songs that I couldn't find on either youtube or the itunes store. And unlike the itunes store, you get to listen to the whole song once rather than just s 30 second clip.

An alternative, if googling fails and the searcher can remember part of the tune and you've got a microphone, is www.midomi.com - sing/hum ten seconds of the tune and it'll match it up against the tunes in its database. Helped me once track down the Turtles' "Happy Together", among other things.
