@Leigh Anne: thanks – it was one of those days that I kept moving from one thing to the next, so it didn’t feel like I was focusing on anything enough to accomplish it.

But anyway, the doorbell we ordered is a lot like this one – the button parts we stuck (double-sided tape) by each chair at the desk, and the ringer part is in the back office, so it’s easy for desk staff to ask for help during a rush. The admin staff make jokes about being summoned and their Pavlovian response to the bell, but it works well. Ours cost less than $20, was really easy to install, and has significantly improved our customer service during short-staffed and busy times.

Might I ask about that “wireless doorbell”? Namely, where did you get it, was it reasonably priced, hard to install, etc.? Methinks something like that would be really useful around here…
