We had phones all over town get pulled by the phone company (I want to say it was SBC, which has since become ATT); the reps saying that they no longer made money on the phones. The pay phones listed for our town in websites like you site, have also been pulled. I’m wondering if we have any left.

Seriously, the payphones are a money maker* for Verizon, you’d think they’d WANT people to know where they are. I know you librarians are a shady kind of people, but seriously, what better place to find a list of payphone locations?

*(albeit, probably a very small bit)
