Basically, I use my inboxes as to-do lists, which I know is (supposedly) bad practice.

@Anne: We have lots of names for our regulars, and I’m guessing most libraries do.

Also, another sort-of funny story about this day: when the person coming to work the desk at 7pm showed up and I started to tell her what had been going on, she said, “I know, I’ve been reading your blog today.” Ha. Yay for staff communication.

But considering we’ve had people freak out over losing sunglasses, I was very surprised no one ever came asking for this laptop. But then, we’ve got lost flashdrives we’ve had for a year or so too, so who knows.
