They had sensors that measured temperature, humidity, and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). The VOC levels were triggered by odors — good ones and bad ones (no discerning between perfume and popcorn). So if your patron could measure VOCs in the breakroom, she’d know how strong the smells were at a given time!
